
Moist, soft, and delicious muffins with chocolate chips. A muffin classic that is very popular, especially among children. They are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Quick and easy to make.
Ingredients for about 12 pieces:
- 300 g wheat flour
- 100 g sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs (The eggs should be at room temperature)
- 150 ml sparkling mineral water
- 100 ml oil
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 100 g chopped chocolate (not too finely) or chocolate chips
Preparation :
- In one bowl, mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and baking powder.
- In a second bowl, whisk together the sparkling mineral water, oil, and eggs.
- Next, whisk together the ingredients from both bowls. Do not mix for long, just until the ingredients are combined. Finally, gently mix in the chocolate pieces with a spatula.
- Line the muffin pan with paper liners. Fill the liners with the batter.
- Bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes at 180°C (top and bottom heat). Perform a toothpick test to check if the muffins are done. Let them cool for a few minutes with the door slightly ajar, then remove them and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
